Its often a smart marketing move to add a virtual agent onto your website. Visitors are more willing to stay on page when they get more interaction from the website, regardless if its only a one-way only.
I do use virtual agents on some of my websites, and conversion rates do tend to increase. Virtual smart agent is not as expensive as you all may think it is, especially when it can actually produce great results. Obviously there are alot more benefits using VSA.
Its only a one-time $97, instead of $197 with the discount!
